|| Latin American educational thinking
|| The Forum is an exhibition and discussion space for Latin American and Caribbean educational thinking, which is coincidentally celebrated in the week of the 164th anniversary of the birth of José Marti, outstanding educator and National Hero of the Republic of Cuba. This Forum will discuss the importance of the thoughts of Simón Rodríguez, Félix Varela, José Marti, Fidel Castro, Ernesto Guevara, Paulo Freyre along with other outstanding educators of Our America. At the same time, we will examine the experiences and approaches that are currently taking place in our countries and constitute an unavoidable necessity to face the challenges that this era of changes imposes on the formation of children, adolescents and young people who will contribute to a better world.
|| Teaching and learning History in the 21st century
|| In the Forum "Teaching and learning History" have been cited authors representing different facets of the didactic work as a reflection of global trends. thus, in the theoretical order, they appear to the foundations of a didactic development and its commitment to the role of the student as an active participant in their learning there is no lack of research and methodological criteria to contribute to cognitive independence. From these postulates appear critical judgments about the history in force in the school and the need to perfect it.
|| The unions and teacher-student organizations in educational development
|| The forum will discuss papers that reflect the participation and social management of organizations of educators present in the current Latin American reality. Experiences will be exchanged between representatives of trade, community, student and scientific associations with the purpose of evaluating the possibilities of joint action in order to achieve a quality education from the overcoming and continuous training of teachers and professors.
|| The art of editing in the 21st century within the educational universe
|| The forum will bring together publishers, librarians and educators from the area and other parts of the world, with the purpose of exchanging and sharing good practices in editorial work, establishing cooperation mechanisms among publishers and proposing new alternatives that contribute to editorial improvement, visibility and impact of publishing products for Education.
